About Me.
I am a Computer Science student at Liverpool John Moores University looking for a 2027/2028 placement. I have built this website to showcase my skills via my portfolio and to act as a central place to record my journey. I’ve created and published various personal projects as a way to improve my skills and become a better software engineer.
I’ve used my projects to explore various different fields. An example of this has been my light-hearted full-stack ‘Roast My Face’ web app that integrates AI APIs to process an image of the user’s face and come up with a humorous response. I’ve also gone down a rabbit hole with networking by setting up my own homelab by upcycling a cheap mini PC from Ebay which led to me experimenting with reverse proxies and deploying self-hosted services and applications.
Outside of Computer Science, I’m really into Counter Strike and especially the esports side of it, and personally going to watch a tournament in person in London has been one of my favorite experiences. Another passion of mine is boxing, especially the heavyweight division and in particular I am a big fan of Usyk; seeing Usyk VS Dubois at Wembley Stadium was surreal.

This was the start of my coding and Computer Science journey, I picked up my first programming Language (Python) and developed the foundations of Computer Science.
Explored Computer Science concepts such as data structures, networking and cyber security whilst picking up my second programming language (Visual Basic).
Started the journey towards getting a Computer Science Degree, and massively accelerating in experience and knowledge as well as deepening my passion for Computer Science and programming in general.
Started a personal project to create an SMS bot that I could message for train times, that expanded into a multi-purpose SMS Assistant as I added more features.
[View Project Article]Created and published a full-stack AI web application that turns image input into humourous roasts. This project helped me explore how to secure API keys from static webpages and utilizing serverless architecture.
[View Project Article]Finished my first year at university with a First Class average (79%) and taking one more step towards a journey of developing my skills and improving myself as a Computer Scientist.
Collaborated with fellow Computer Science students during a two-day hackathon to design, prototype and present a smart-city transport solution under time pressure.
Launching the current website that you are on to showcase my skills and portfolio to potential employers or anyone potentially interested in my Computer Science skills.
Actively looking for an industrial placement year to start by September 2027, to bring my skills to a workplace environment as well as develop as a software engineer.
